Debbie Lieberman is a licensed clinical social worker and has always a passion for working with families, especially those affected by chronic health issues.  Her career experience includes many years working with children, teens and young adults with cancer at Duke University Medical Center, Scottish Rite Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.  Debbie also has significant life experience as a food allergy educator and advocate as her husband and two children all have different life threatening food allergies.  Debbie's unique background enables her to speak with clinical expertise and experiential empathy.

Debbie attended the University Of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  She then earned her Masters in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  While working in New York City, Debbie was fortunate enough to complete additional training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family.  Family systems training continues to inform her approach to working with clients across the developmental spectrum.
